Of fishes and cemetaries

Well in the afternoon I went to the Aquaria thing at the KL convention center. Being the kiasu person that we were, we parked at the rm 1 parking area and walked all the way to the convention center under the extremely hot sun. After reaching the Aquaria thing.. well, the car park leading to it to be exact..we were faced by a queue longer than a sea dragon. We actually thought the aquaria thing was at the end of the car park but nooooo, it was still a long way in. The staff told us that the wait for 2 hours. 2 freaking hours !! So we were like standing there and looking at each other. To wait or not to wait..then i guess our kiasuism got the better of us..since the price will go up after Hari Merdeka, so we just waited la. Aiyo, the car park was sooo hot la

So we queued, and queued, and queued some more... After 1.5 hours we finally got in. It was quite nice after all, only the crowd was a big turn off. Every single display had people cramming up in front of it. The tunnel was nice, its cool to see the sting rays swimming up above, they are the birds of the ocean because of the way they swim, kinda like flapping wings. Then there were the displays , the touch screens and this documentary thing. The fish look rather friendly, those in the large pools. I think the staff had their hands full as the kids were poking fingers everywhere and people were flashing cameras at the fishes every few seconds.

After about 45 minutes of going around the place, we went to the sovenier shop. Was tempted to buy a few things there but refrained due to the fact that I was broke.

Anyway that night on the way back from dinner, we went to collect our new digicam, yay ! The shop closes at 9.30 so we were kinda anxious to reach there before it closes.. We were soo close, just 10 minutes more...then suddenly my uncle called and said his car was stalled. So we had to go over to give some assistence... Of all places his car stalled next to the cemetary. So my sisters and I were like sitting in the car and waiting for my dad to diagnose the problem, but seems they had no clue. My uncle didnt apply for AAM either ! My sis was praying for God to send his angels to help. Haha, she was probably hoping we can reach the shop on time to get the digicam. Just kidding la girl.... But then suddenly i noticed that someone was behind our car, who is that? That person asked my mum, are u xxxxx's (one of the people we had dinner with ) friend? My mum was like yes... then he said.. I'm a repairman. I heard your car broke down, I'm here to see what is the problem. We were all like huh? My mum didnt tell any of her friends that my uncles car broke down.

Later on my mum realised she heard the wrong name... actually another car broke down a few hundred meters ahead of us, but hey, the repairman manage to figure out the problem, the riadiotor was leaking. So my dad sent us to get the cam, while he went back to get some water for my uncles radiator. ahahaha !

Casualties of vicious attacks

Newsflash -- Place : Jyrenze residence

Headless orchids and ferns and a naked shrub have been spotted at Jyrenze's residence of late. Eyewtiness have claimed that 2 furry long eared creatures are the culprits. "It was terrible !" said one of the residents of that house, who has prefered to remain anonymous. " One night the orchids were fine, the next day all the flowers were gone ! As though that was not enough, the following day all that was left were stumps !" The authorities urge all plant life to remain extremyly cautious... no one knows when the furry bandits will strike again.......

Farewell Lunch

We had our expensive farewell lunch for my colleagues at the Bukit Kiara horsey club yesterday. Has this 8 course meal or something like that. They took soo long to bring the next dish after we finihsed the first one. We were like starving to death la. Then after we told them they were a bit slow, the food started to appear a few dishes at a time.. aiya.... Maybe the waiter hates us for critisizing the food and service in front of him, hahaha.. What a dangerous thing to do in front of a waiter.

It was certainly an emotional time towrds the end, with the farewell "speech" and so on. I really hate changes of any sort, but life is full of changes, some for worst, some for better. Its a pity I could only know them for a short time, but I'm glad to have known them. Farewell and all the best !

My colleague was saying over our meal of "cheap" noodles today that this meal was better than yesterdays posh meal ... haha... cheap or expensive food, it is all just food la. But i was really stuffed to the max yesterday, we couldnt finish all the food.

HAze and candlelight dinner

The haze was at its worst yesterday. My colleagues and I even opened a msn discussion as to whether we should ask the boss to let us off early. No one seems to want to be the first to ask him....hahaha. In the end we went home at the usual time.

So i went to the little Leisure Mall for dinner last night. Me n YS were sitting at the food court were suddenly the lights started to flicker. YS jokingly said that if there was a power failure, we could have a candlelight dinner.. Not long after he said that...there really was a power failure at the food court section. The funny thing was, the staff brought candles on the little saucer we use to put soya sauce and chilli padi.. hey, perhaps this situation has happened before a few times.... how come the candles are not new? Anyway, we had like 10 minutes of candlelight dinner before the lights can back on, whereuopn the waiters blew out the candles and stored them away for um...future use.

Its unfair...why do so many of u not have to go to school/work today? * (Cries) ..... the haze is bad here too!

Mist continent

For those of you that remember Final Fantasy 9, our country has turned into something like the mist continent, where residents are afraid to go out incase some monster spawned from the evil mist comes out and eats them. It looked just like that this morning when I was driving to work.

It had better rain soon, I foresee myself falling sick if the haze goes on. Urgh.....

End of the world

The sky nowadays does look like those post apocalypt skies. Hazy and with the orange red sun.... I wonder how long our planet can last with humans poluting it everyday. Sooner or later the earth is going to spit us out, *thinks of recent earthquakes and tsunamis

Even doing small things like throwing rubbish in proper places and recycling can help a lot if everyone is willing to pitch in. Lets not be selfish coz this planet is the only one we have
