Mall Adventure

Last Friday I decided to go to One Utama. Usually I don't go shopping alone, in fact I think this was my fist time shopping alone in a mall. My initial objective was to get my friends present from the bookstore at Popular, ends up this was my journey through that gigantic mall.



ok its by no means a nice illustration. I suck at using Adobe Illustrator. Even something simple like drawing arrows took me dunno how long. The Floor plan of coz, was taken from One Utamas website.

A - I parked here
B - Went to buy Dunkin Donuts(my dinner) sambil jalan , sambil makan
C - Went up to 2nd floor because thats where Popular is.
D - Walked all the way to D before seeing the 'You Are Here' floor plan and realising I'm walking the wrong way. Walked back to C
E - Made it to popular at last...unfortunately after searching high and low I coulnd't find the book I wanted. Darn....
F- From E I walked back through C, and D...finally arriving at F where MPH is. Took me quite some time to find the book, which there were only 2 copies left. Yay!
G - Decided to take a look at Parkson.
H - Walked around looking at the clothes and stuff
I - Exited Parkson here and sat down for a while at the sofa area listening to the musician playing the piano.
J - I realised I was a little lost at this point. Wanted to cross over to the other side but there was no link. The floor plan only showed the current floor so I was kinda blur how to get to the other side.
K - Ok, at least upstairs got link to go back to the other side.
L - Was trying to find my way to Jusco. Oh, its one more floor down. Thought of going to the home center as well but decided against it because I was too tired.
M - Bought some stuff at Jusco..wanted tob uy more but my arms were already breaking. Yet another cons to shopping alone, cannot distribute the load...haha
N - Stopped at Pets Wonderland for a quick look
A - Back to the car park with cars trailing behind me to get my space. Sigh...cant even rest a while in the car coz the people were waiting for me to leave.

Thus ended my 1st venture into shopping alone. It really wasn't that bad, haha..but I was dead tired.

Battle of the shini-bloggers

YsLim's Zanpakutō: YsLim carries Demon Mauler unsealed. It resembles a big, magnificent set of brass knuckles which is transparent, and manifests a dragon made of flame.

Eng's Zanpakutō: When Eng activates Killer like Flame with the command "Flow, Killer like Flame!" it transforms into a jagged eku with an elegantly carved shaft. It allows the wielder to walk on narrow surfaces without losing balance.

Ash's Zanpakutō: Ash carries Crazy Rainbow sealed into the form of a dagger. At the command "Assimilate, Crazy Rainbow!" it transforms into an oversized bullwhip with red ribbons on the handle. It reduces the opponent's speed by 10% on each hit.

Ooh my, this looks interesting. May the battle begin!

Round 1: Steffi vs Ash

Ash: Aww shucks my opponent is Steffi, how am I supposed to fight agaisnt a girl?
Steffi: Oi, how dare you look down on me because I am a girl. Embody, Savage Willow!"
Ash:Yikes here she comes! "Assimilate, Crazy Rainbow!"

Steffi: ..... Ribbons?
Ash: Hey don't insult my zanpakutou.
Steffi: Well whatever. Here I come!
Ash: Woah, careful that thing is dangerous! *Lashes Steffi with his whip

Steffi: Oww, that stings! Eh, your speed has increased.
Ash: Hah, its you that is getting slower! My Crazy Rainbow slows you down each time it hits you. I should be able to overcome you in no time after deal you a few more lashes!
Steffi: ...... why does this seem more like BSDM than anything else... although I don't usually mind getting whipped but.... I musn't loose to Ash!

Steffi: I'm gonna stop you before you get any closer. HIIYAAAHHH !!!
Ash: Eh, what the... ARGHHHH
Steffi: Hah, I knocked you out with Savage Willow's shockwave.
Ash: Urgh... so dizzy..... ok fine you win....

Winner: Steffi !

Steffi is seen draging the almost uncounsious Ash off to an ominous fate....

Ok, I was bored and I saw this zanpakutou generator and decided to have some fun with it. hahaha..those of you who have wached Bleach might find this more amusing. Maybe I'll come up with another battle when I get bored. =p

I was surfing the net when this quote caught my eye. At first glance it seems like a usual funny quote, something the lazy Homer would say.... but then it also struck me how true this quote was. Sometimes we just rather not try than to do our best and end up disappointed.


The counter quote might be something like, its ok if you failed, at least you tried your best, but sometimes I feel, it hurts even more to fail because you have tried your best. If that really was your best effort, it just simply meant you were not good enough.

I know I hate it when people try to console my failures with " At least you have done your best". That was I can't even comfort myself with something like "I didn't score well in the exam because I didn't study la." It just seems to show that even my best efforts suck.

Somehow all this reminds me of college. We did try our best sometimes, doing assignments and all, slaving till the wee hours of the morning, but the outcome is still bad. Still a C or B laughing in the face of all our hard work and effort. Maybe it has affected me so that I rarely ever try my best at anything anymore... hehe.... well thats except in playing certain computer or P/S games la :p

1. I'm fond of cute stuff and like to collect them. I have given up on doing so because there are just too many to collect.
2. I still look fondly upon my sticker and sailormoon card collection.
3. I tend to have recurring dreams of people whom I feel strongly about or who have done something that I can't get over.
4. I'm more attracted to fictional characters than real life ones.
5. I love milkshakes but they don't agree with me.
6. Its hard for me to sleep without my bolster or a similar substitute
7. I'm too lazy to watch TV. Commercials and drama scenes irritate me.
8. I don't eat cucumbers, watermelons and tomatoes....but I love tomato ketchup
